Additional tips and tricks for teaching and engaging K-12 learners through Google Classroom.

Yubis Lopez is a NYC Department of Education English as a New Language (ENL) teacher. She has been teaching in the department for over 15 years both as a paraprofessional and as a teacher. Ms. Lopez teaches students with autism and provides them with opportunities to become creative individuals through the use of technology. She pushes their creativity by teaching robotics and Lego Creations via her ELL afterschool program.
Ms. Lopez also partakes in creating and leading professional development workshops at Google Educator Groups (GEG’s), Apple After Hours, Microsoft Meet Ups, ISTE, and NYC Schools' Tech Summit where she influences teachers with new techniques and tips on how to improve teaching and learning in 21st century classroom.
