Join us for a hands-on workshop called, Teaching Strategies: Technological and other tools for better management of your K-12 classrooms.

You want to be a teacher? You have earned your degree, completed  all the requirements, even landed for your first job. The first day goes well, the second day the kids start chit-chatting, and pretty soon the honeymoon is over. How did this happen? What can you do about it? This workshop addresses classroom management and the use of technology and organizational tools to better manage your classroom. The goal of the day is for you to leave with the outline of your own business/strategic plan for your classroom organization, with a focus on using the technological and other tools available.

This event is designed for all current and aspiring teachers.

In partnership with the Graduate School of Education’s Lander Center, NYS certified teachers will receive 5 CTLE credit hours.

Registration fee: $20 (Fee waived for GST Students/Alumni)
